BTX vol.09 — المقاومة (Resistance) (Spring 2024)
A drop for a cause. BTX vol.09 — المقاومة (Resistance) was more than a collection — it was a statement, a call, and a form of solidarity. Created for a cause, it emerged in a time when silence was deafening and division was loud — yet unity was louder.
Since October 7th, 2023, we had carried the growing weight of wanting to do something meaningful for Palestine. With every drop, every post, that feeling grew — until it became this. Four months in the making, المقاومة was our way of standing up, speaking out, and channeling emotion into action.
The collection was an ode to those who refuse to stay quiet. It echoed a truth we hold close:
“Revive your voices. Stand united.
The fearful do not create freedom — and the weak do not create dignity.
Never stop speaking about Palestine.
Arabs unite, civilians unite — and most importantly, humanity unites us all.”
Designed in collaboration with independent artists Fatema Almaany and Noura Maheeb, المقاومة was built on emotion and intention — each detail meant to remind us that clothes can carry weight, message, and memory.
Proceeds from the collection were donated to Alashanek Ya Balady Foundation (@ayb_egypt), supporting Palestinian students studying in Egypt who have lost their homes, families, and stability to the war. Through this drop, BROWNTOAST aimed to make their lives — and their futures — just a little bit easier.
Because المقاومة isn’t just about fighting back — it’s about standing together.
