BTX vol.011 — NUMB (Fall 2024)
The NUMB drop was an exploration of stillness — a moment suspended between emotion and absence, chaos and calm.
It was about that feeling when the world doesn’t stop spinning, but you do.
A limited-edition drop featuring six stone-washed t-shirts in fashion-forward box-fit and midi-cropped cuts, alongside two XL tote bags — NUMB embodied the tension between being fully awake yet mentally adrift. Each piece was hand-dyed, stone-washed, and screen-printed, making no two pieces exactly alike — raw, imperfect, and deeply personal.
The collection drew inspiration from the grunge aesthetic and the 2012 alternative / rock / emo Tumblr era — a nod to youth, angst, and that strange peace that comes after the storm. Designed in collaboration with independent artists @marwan__gfx, @lailashahin2, and @sazalat, NUMB carried the energy of a generation learning to feel again by first feeling nothing.
From concept to creation, every stitch, wash, and print reflected BROWNTOAST's commitment to quality, creativity, and intention.
Because sometimes, detachment is not emptiness — it’s survival.
